Disney is currently running a free Dining Plan package for travel dates in September through December. If you've been considering staying in the parks, and would like to try the meal plan, this is ideal.
This package saves a family of four close to $1,000.00 on their Disney vacation.
If you stay in the value resorts, your package will include the Quick Service Plan FREE. Quick service dining does NOT include any sit down meals. This type of dining package is good for families who prefer to "fly by the seat of their pants" while in Disney.
You can eat and vacation without worrying about reservations.
Your package will include two quick service meals, one snack and a refillable resort mug per person. The mugs are wonderful to bring around the resort, and to enjoy cold drinks at the pool. They are also an excellent keepsake!
Value resorts are very kid friendly, but without some of the amenities of the moderate and deluxe resorts. If you've never been to Disney, and you are on a budget, I say go for it. Your kids will never know the difference, and I can guarantee you they will have a phenomenal time.
If you stay in the moderate to deluxe resorts, your package will include the Disney Dining Plan FREE. The 'DDP" includes one counter service (cafeteria style), one snack (hot pretzel, ice cream, etc) and one sit down (restaurant style) per person.
You also receive a refillable resort mug for everyone in your party.
